Sardor Rajabov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, officially opened the "Future Engineers" international festival with a welcoming speech.

Today, this prestigious festival, which has become a hub for innovation, science, and technology, features nearly 30 competitions and contests, bringing together more than 14,000 participants in one place.

Distinguished foreign guests also took part in the festival, enriching the event with their remarks. Among them:

Jonathan Freedman — President and CEO of the World Trade Center;
Moez Chakchouk — Executive Director of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations;
Serge Haroche — Nobel Prize laureate (France);
Akiko Fujii — UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan.

The festival will run through April 30.
